　　本品为2-氨基乙磺酸。按干燥品计算，含牛磺酸（C2H7NO3S）不得少于98.5%。
　　【性状】本品为白色或类白色结晶或结晶性粉末;无臭。
　　本品在水中溶解，在乙醇、乙醚或丙酮中不溶。
　　【鉴别】（1）取本品与牛磺酸对照品各适量，分别加水溶解并稀释制成每1ml中约含2mg的溶液，作为供试品溶液与对照品溶液。照有关物质项下的方法试验，供试品溶液所显主斑点的位置和颜色应与对照品溶液的主斑点相同。
　　（2）本品的红外光吸收图谱应与对照的图谱（光谱集44图）一致。
　　【检查】溶液的透光率   取本品0.50g，加水20ml溶解后，照紫外-可见分光光度法（通则0401），在430nm的波长处测定透光率，不得低于95.0%。
　　氯化物   取本品1.0g，加水溶解使成50ml，取25ml，依法检查（通则0801），与标准氯化钠溶液5.0ml制成的对照液比较，不得更浓（0.01%）。

This product is 2-amino ethanesulfonic acid. According to the calculation of dry products, containing taurine (C2H7NO3S) shall not be less than 98.5%.
[Properties] This product is white or quasi-white crystal or crystalline powder; No odor.
This product dissolves in water and is insoluble in ethanol, ether or acetone.
[Identification] (1) Take the appropriate amount of this product and taurine control product, dissolve and dilute it with water respectively to make a solution containing about 2mg in every 1ml, as the test product solution and the control product solution. According to the method test under the substance in question, the position and color of the main spots shown in the test product solution should be the same as the main spots in the control product solution.
(2) The infrared light absorption pattern of this product should be consistent with the control pattern (spectrum set 44 figure).
[Check] the light transmittance of the solution is 0.50g of this product, 20ml of water is dissolved, and the light transmittance is measured at the wavelength of 430nm by UV-visible spectrophotometry (general rule 0401), which shall not be less than 95.0%.
Take 1.0g of this product, dissolve it with water to make 50ml of chloride, take 25ml, check according to law (general rule 0801), and compare with the control solution made of standard sodium chloride solution of 5.0ml, not more concentrated (0.01%).
