This product is white or white amorphous powder; Odorless, slightly sweet.
This product is easily soluble in boiling water, but insoluble in ethanol or ether.
identify
Take 1ml of 10% aqueous solution of this product and add 1 drop of iodine test solution to show purplish red.

Inspect
acidity
Take 5.Og, add 50ml of water, heat to dissolve, cool, add 2 drops of phenolphthalide indicator solution and 2.0ml of sodium hydroxide titrant (O.mol /L), it should be pink.

Reducing sugar
Take 2.0g of this product, add 100ml of water, shake for 5 minutes, let stand, filter; Take 50ml of filtrate, add 50ml of basic copper tartrate test solution, boil for 3 minutes, filter with a constant weight of 105°C vertical melting glass crucible, filter residue first with water, then with ethanol, and finally with ether washing at 105°C for 2 hours, the remaining cuprous oxide should not exceed 0.20g.

Drying loss
Take this product, dry at 105°C to constant weight, weight loss must not exceed 10.0%(general rule 0831).

Burning residue
Take this product l.Og, check according to law (general rule 0841), and the residual residue shall not exceed 0.5%.

Heavy metal
Take the residue left behind under the incandescene residue, check according to law (General Rule 0821 Second Law), and contain heavy metals shall not exceed 20 parts per million.

Ferric salt
Take 2.0g of this product, after burning and ashing, add 3 drops of hydrochloric acid lml and nitric acid to the residue, evaporate to near dry on a water bath, cool, add hydrochloric acid lml to dissolve, transfer to a 50ml measuring bottle with water, dilute to the scale with water, shake well; Accurately measure 10ml, check according to law (general rule 0807), and compare with the control solution made of standard iron solution 2.0ml, not deeper (0.005%).

microorganism
Limit to take this product, check according to law (general rules 1105 and 1106), the total number of aerobic bacteria in each lg test product shall not exceed 1000, the total number of molds and yeasts shall not exceed lOOcfu, and Escherichia coli shall not be detected.
