Property: white fine particle crystal or powder, hygroscopic, soluble in water, neutral aqueous solution. Soluble in glycerol, insoluble in alcohol. Exposure to air will gradually absorb 1 molecule of water. High purity, fine particles of anhydrous substance called anhydrous sodium sulfate. Sodium sulfate can form heptahydrate and decahydrate, heptahydrate (Na2SO4·7H2O) is a white orthorhombic crystal. It becomes anhydrous when heated to 24.4℃. Sodium sulfate is reduced to sodium sulfide by reaction with carbon at high temperature.

Synthetic detergents are used as fillers in the manufacture of chemical products such as sodium sulfide, ultramarine and sodium silicate, in the manufacture of sulfate pulp in the paper industry, as a substitute for soda ash in the glass industry, as fillers in the dye industry, as dyeing aids in the printing and dyeing industry, as laxatives and antidotes for barium poisoning in the pharmaceutical industry, etc. In addition, they are also used in the manufacture of synthetic fibers, tanning, non-ferrous metallurgy, enamels, soaps, etc.

The production method comprises the following steps of: dissolving mirabilite obtained by a chamber water dissolving method, and evaporating and dehydrating to produce anhydrous sodium sulfate.
