This product is colorless or white crystal or crystalline powder; Odorless and sweet.
This product is very soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether.
identify
Take 0.25g of this product, add lml of water to dissolve, add 0.2g of resorcinol and 9ml of diluted hydrochloric acid, heat in a water bath for 2 minutes, the solution will appear red.
The infrared light absorption pattern of this product should be consistent with that of the reference product (General rule 0402).
Inspect
acidity
Take 2.0g of this product, add 20ml of water to dissolve, add 3 drops of phenolphthalein indicator solution and 0.20ml of sodium hydroxide titration solution (0.02mol/L), should be pink.
Clarity and color of the solution
Take 5.0g of this product, add 10ml of water to dissolve, the solution should be clear and colorless; Such as color, with yellow or yellow-green No. 1 standard colorimetric solution (general 0901 first method) compared, not deeper.
S-methylol sugar aldehyde
Take 0.50g of this product, add 10ml of water and dissolve, according to UV-visible spectrophotometry (general rule 0401), at the wavelength of 284nm determination, absorbance shall not exceed 0.32.
chloride
Take 0.60g of this product, check according to law (general rule 0801), and compare with the control solution made of standard sodium chloride solution 6.0ml, not more concentrated (0.01%).
sulfate
Take 2.0g of this product, check according to law (general rule 0802), and compare with the control solution made of standard potassium sulfate solution 2.0ml, not more concentrated (0.01%).
Barium salt
Take 10.0g of this product, dissolve it with water and dilute it to 100ml as the reserve liquid. Take 10ml of the reserve solution and add lmol/L sulfuric acid solution lml to make the test solution. Immediately compare it with the control solution made by taking 10ml of the reserve solution and adding lml of water, and compare it again 1 hour later.
Calcium and magnesium (in calcium)
Take 2.0g of this product, accurately weigh, add 20ml water to dissolve, add 2 drops of hydrochloric acid, add 5m l ammonium-ammonium chloride buffer (pH10.0) and appropriate amount of chrome-black T indicator, titrate with ethylenediamine tetraacetate disodium titrant (0.005mol/L) until blue. Consumption of ethylenediamine tetraacetate disodium titrant (0.005mol/L) shall not exceed 0.5ml.
Cane sugar
Take 5.0g of this product, add 10ml of water, shake well, take lml of each and put them into two colorimetric tubes A and B respectively, add 9ml of ethanol into tube A and 9ml of water into tube B, shake well. The opalescence of the nail tube must not be stronger than that of the B tube.
Drying loss
Take this product, dry at 70°C for 4 hours under pressure, weight loss shall not exceed 0.5% (general rule 0831).
Burning residue
Not more than 0.1% (General rule 0841).
Heavy metal
Take 5.Og, dissolve it with 23ml water, add 2ml acetate buffer (pH 3.5), check according to law (first method of General Rule 0821), and the heavy metal content shall not exceed 4 parts per million.
Arsenic salt
Take 2.0g of this product, add 5ml of water, dissolve it, add 5ml of dilute sulfuric acid and lml of bromine test solution, place it in a water bath, heat it and concentrate it to about 5ml, cool it, add 5ml of hydrochloric acid and appropriate amount of water to make 28ml, check according to law (the first method of General Rules 0822), it should comply with the regulations (0.0001%).
sterility
This product is taken, dissolved in 0.1% sterile peptone water, treated by film filtration, washed with 0.1% sterile peptone water (not less than 100ml per film), Staphylococcus aureus as a positive control bacteria, checked according to law (General Rule 1101), should comply with regulations. (for sterile packaging)
